The mats consist of meshes into which heating cables are woven and attached (at appropriate intervals). The layer, which consists of the mat and glue and which is installed under the floor surface, is 3 to 5 millimeters thick. Thanks to such a low height of the mat, its installation in the room only minimally increases the height of the floor.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Why use heating mats?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Such mats are most often used as a stand-alone source of heating for a room or as a source of heating supporting the actual heating. The density of the electrical wires determines the power of the heating mat. A higher heating power will then require a greater number of electrical wires and their greater density.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Where are heating mats used?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Heating mats are used in closed and dry (i.e. moisture-free) rooms that require additional heating. They can be used in apartments as well as multi-storey private houses, in offices and even large halls. The mat is installed under the floor of the room, so after the installation is finished it is invisible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Advantages of underfloor heating<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Heating mats have many advantages over heating cables. They can be installed in both finished rooms and those that are just being built. Additionally, they are very easy to install and with the appropriate installation instructions, anyone can install them. There are even special self-adhesive mats that are even easier to install.
